Clinic Eyewear is a well-established optical store serving the Durham Region for 35 years managed by Lorne Sellick. After graduating from the Optician's program at Georgian college in 1985, Lorne began his career as an optician at Imperial Optical in the early years before moving out on his own to create Clinic Eyewear. He has now passed on his responsibilities and his optical to Dr. Pellegrino. Dr. Pellegrino and staff remain dedicated to serving the Durham region and accept the privilege of taking care of the Clinic Eyewear's new and lifetime customers, viewing all patients' eye care as both an honour and a serious responsibility.

Bond Optical
Dr. Michael Pellegrino was recently given the opportunity to expand his practice with the acquisition of Bond Optical. A longstanding Durham institution since 1994, personalized optical care in Oshawa and the Durham Region has been their hallmark for over 23 years. This tradition began with the father of current owner Bob Johnson, who has been practicing optometry since the 1940s. Bob Johnson began his career in 1972 with every intention of continuing to fulfil the needs of Oshawa residents. He founded Admiral Optical in 1977, which became Bond Optical in 1994. Now that Dr. Klein has announced his retirement, what won’t change is the continued commitment to providing unmatched optical care.
Dr. Pellegrino is thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the community of GM workers and automotive industry workers in the Durham community. Dr. Pellegrino’s father, Rolando Pellegrino, was a Millwright at the Oshawa Truck Plant for more than 30 years, and Dr. Pellegrino himself worked at GM as a summer student for many years. It is his hope that with hard work and dedication, the entire Bond Optical team will carry these proud traditions into the future.
